Unpacking the intention of Bill of Rights of Bill of Rights Day

In honor of this being "Bill of Rights Day"...

I'd like to celebrate by using my 1st amendmentrant and point out that..

..the Bill of Rights was NOT in fact designed to protect us from the govt, but to protect the traditional-classist aristocrats (who'd managed to get a grip on the govt and form an 'Cronygarchy' that would've been easily overturned by the angry overtaxed and opressed farmers who were tired of paying for a war they didn't ask for and were not enjoying the benefits of because they were being thrown in jail for not being able to afford paying back the merchants who were in bed with the cronygarchy, whom they had to borrow from because they were being excessively taxed to pay for the Continental army so that the rich wouldn't have to pay with their salary or property)

The cronygarchy Congress of the time could've come up with many ways to resolve such a problem that would make everyone happy and dissolve the hoardes of angry families and countrymen who wanted to make the govt backoff, to put any crooked congressmen in jail for oppressing them for no logical reason, and to have real protection from British impressment and instigation of riots.

Regrettably, Congress was made up of approx 75% artistocrats and only about 15% blue collar workers who knew what it was like to not be rich or in bed with govt.

That 15%; assistance by Ben Franklin, Washington, Jackson & a few other upperclassers who wanted freedom and equality not oligarchy and tyranny, fought hard against the aristocratic majority to NOT turn young America into the feudal style Pluto-Monarchy govt where anyone elected as President would effectively be treated like the Pope; serving a life sentence as potus, and turning the rest of the cabinet and Congress into different forms of Lord's and Lady's and other titles that would bestow the en-titled to more power, resources & money than anyone under them.

Despite using a ton of logic and facts to show that simply amending a few parts of the Native American co-designed Articles of Confederation to prevent govt corruption andor bankruptcy, and to show that the threat of sometimes painful revolution and lose of a few corrupt politicians lofty property was much more worth risking to maintain freedom for everyone, than to design a system around protecting the 'other' cronygarchy politicians (who might not have done anything wrong, but whom might still get punished by proxy for not doing anything to stop the thievery being committed by their coworkers) that comes with the very real risk of manifesting uncontrollable tyranny from both the top and bottom.

"Sometimes the tree if liberty must be replenished by the blood of Patriots and Tyrants", was the common thought of those with any sense if ethics, compassion and common sense.

Unfortunately, there majority would have none of this "common sense" nonsense; especially if it didn't result in what they felt were the proper level tools and legal technology to protect their property and their power.

So instead of even attempting to make one of those win/win resolutions work, the majority vote was to tear up the equality-and-freedom-promoting-govt-for-and-by-the-people (that was being successfully and peacefully used by the nearest and largest Confederation of tribes area) Articles of Confederation that prevented them from obtaining supremacy, and craft a more 'civilized' Constitution with proper authority-granting legalese that would allow the cronygarchy to essentially do what it pleased; in the officially sanctioned "non-US safe-zone" cheater space of W.D.C, wherein they could build a political fortress where they could be protected from the same angry masses who refused to protect them in Philadelphia (until they attoned for their mistakes).

In order to even get there Bill of Rights sewn into the Constitution, the minority had to sell it to the cronygarchy majority, not as a way to protect the little guys, but as a way to protect the upper classes from oppression from the super rich minority above them that held more power in their crooked pinky toes than any average aristocratic politician had when you combined all their assests and titles.

Thankfully, those who wanted to maintain as much true freedom for everyone, managed to word the Bill of Rights in such a way that it offered protection to as many as possible, from govt tryanny of any kind.
Unfortunately, thanks to fear-mongering John Jay, Alexander Hamilton and a several other traditionalists schmucks who loved money and power more than freedom and fairness, the Bill of Rights was pretty much stripped of what little power it had by the Supremacy Clause, the Jay Treaty, the misrepresented Welfare Clause, and several other slimy legal loopholes they refused to live without if they couldn't recreate the British Empire they just fought to be free from.
Those who had fight hard to create a balance of power and assert protections for those without power, we're supper pissed by these acts, but by then, the cronygarchy had already been busy working too convince the masses of voters that they 'needed' the new designed Constitution to protect them from the boogie-men-that-were-not-them; which worked as well back then as it does now (*cough* climate change and healthcare legislation *cough*).

Once the middle class majority was on board, it made it near impossible to do anything about the added clauses and 're-interpretations'

So now, whenever Constitution Day and Bill of Rights Day roll around, you can give thanks to our cronygarchy ancestors who made us what we are today
Or instead, you could simply give thanks to the spirit of those of our founding ancestors who didn't want to steal land, grab power nor oppress anyone; who fought their lily-white asses off at great personal risk to be the biggest pain in the ass the cronygarchy would every know, all to try protecting the little guy/gal and give true freedom the chance to flourish as soon as the majority wakes up from the fear-spells they been under for the last near 300 years.
Or just allow the cognitive dissonance you're currently feeling, to determine this is all a bunch of fear-mongering conspiratorial nonsense of it's on kind and go back to your govt sanctioned news medias, frankenfoods and social expectations; forgetting about all this without a single pinch it effort into fact checking what you thought you knew, without remorse for anything more than a few lost minutes of your time

The choice is yours of course, as is the decision to share your choicest words in the comments below.

Whatever you decide, I sincerely hope you have a meaningful Bill of Rights Day

Yours Truly,
Ms. Minarchy
